What's Up! My names Cody James aka CJ Sound, I'm a producer currently living in Melbourne, Australia. I grew up in Birmingham, England and immigrated to New Zealand when I was 15. (with my family of course, I didn't one day wake up and decide to immigrate to NZ at the age of 15 and leave my family behind to conquer the world lol) I've been making music properly for 2-3 years, when I say properly it's because I illegally downloaded FL Studio which at the time was called fruity loops, when I was about 17 and tried to be like Scott Storch and Dre... that didn't work out the best as it was a lot harder than I thought lol. Fast forward 4 years to me buying my first Mac book pro and getting to work on garageband, making music with my cousin who would sing over my out of time, very noisy and weird beats lol shout out to him for that! I now have the same laptop with Logic Pro X installed and working with artists all round the world! It took a lot of patience and there were times I wanted to cry and give up... but I didn't and I couldn't be happier with my position in life right now.
